NASHVILLE, TN – The American Cancer Society Discovery Ball, presented by Cigna, will be held November 4, 2022 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. This distinguished event will begin at 6:00 p.m. and bring the community together for a memorable evening with live entertainment, food and drink, live and silent auctions, and more.
All funds raised through the Discovery Ball support our local Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge, which provides free lodging for cancer patients and their caregivers who travel to Nashville for treatment.
This year, the Discovery Ball will reward three winners during the evening program. The Tennessee Titans will be recognized as our Honored Company for their multifaceted partnership with the Society, particularly around their efforts to advance cancer prevention.
As our community honoree, Meharry Medical College will be recognized for its ongoing efforts to advance diversity in cancer research.
Our individual winner is Clea Shearer, co-founder of The Home Edit. As Clea continues her personal breast cancer journey, she uses her platform to raise critical awareness and inspire others to take action.
“We are thrilled to recognize these incredible community leaders at our upcoming Discovery Ball. Each of these recipients has helped lead the fight for a cancer-free world in their own unique way,” said Lindsey Langley-Liboreiro, executive director of the American Cancer Society.
Also join us for this special evening of key corporate sponsors who help advance our life-saving work.
We are proud to present Cigna as Presenting Sponsor and Bridgestone as Mission Sponsor.
