The program, titled “Through all Nature to Eternity,” features Lior and the Tinalley String Quartet.

Lior is renowned for his beautiful voice and diverse musical interests and the performance promises to offer an eclectic experience from Ravel and Dvorak to Lior’s own compositions.

Lior was awarded the Sydney Myer Music Creative Fellowship in 2019 for outstanding talent and exceptional courage, one of nine artists nationally across all art forms to receive the award.

The internationally acclaimed Tinalley String Quartet have established themselves as one of Australia’s finest string quartets.

Formed in Melbourne in 2003, the Quartet was awarded the Grand Prize at the Australian Chamber Music Competition in 2005 and First Prize at the Ninth Banff International String Quartet Competition in 2017.

Limelight Magazine wrote of them: “When you invest in a new classics album, you want a musical caliber that surpasses previous releases of the same works and a sense of originality – that’s exactly what you’ll find in the new version of the Tinalley String Quartet. ”

Coffs Harbor Music Society President Liz Jamison said: “We intended to put on the concert using a grant from Coffs Harbor City Council before COVID hit.

“The Council kindly withheld the grant and we are now thrilled to be able to host this incredible collaboration of musicians.”

Lior will also lead a singing and writing workshop on June 30.

The show will take place at Lecture Theater D, Coffs Harbor Education Campus, and will begin at 7.30pm.

Tickets and workshop information are available at or by calling 0466 985 652 and tickets will also be available at the door.
