The Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria (ADSN) has urged Nigerians to actively participate in the upcoming general elections to ensure that good leaders are elected.
The group encouraged Muslims to get their permanent voter card (PVC) to be able to vote in the 2023 elections.
The call was made during a press conference to announce activities marking the society’s 10th Triennial National Conference in Lagos.
The President, Ansar-Ud-Deen, Aare AbdulRafiu Ademola Sanni, said the theme of this year’s conference “Parental and Psychosocial Effects of Immorality, Insecurity and Economic Challenges for the Nation” would address the challenges of family unity and parenthood and its wider ramifications on nationality.
The activities planned for the three-day event are as follows: A courtesy visit to prominent members of society, including the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The official opening ceremony will take place today, June 24, 2022, at Yard 158 Event Center, Oregun. Special Jumat Service at the Secretariat of State Mosque in Lagos, Alausa and Thanksgiving Service at Yard 158 Event Center at 3:00 p.m. Lecture Session (Reports, Presentation, Discussion and Elections on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Grandeur Event Centre, Billings Way, Ikeja. 10:00 a.m. and the Merit Awards Ceremony will be held on June 26, 2022. Thereafter there will be will have a swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected.
He mentioned some important milestones that the company has achieved over the past three years, stating that Summit University, Offa now has an operational license as a degree-granting institution of higher education, with more than 10 programs offered, with full accreditation status.
“This was made possible through the concerted efforts of the owner, board, board and management of the university.
