Black Adam Trailer Features Justice Society of America and First Look at Sabbac

The latest Black Adam trailer has been released, and in addition to showing off the power of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s DC anti-hero, it also gives us a new look at the Justice Society of America and our first look at the evil Sabbac.

Black Adam is set to hit theaters on October 21st, and we’ve received more details on what we can expect from Black Adam whose arrival will, according to Johnson, mean “the DC Universe’s hierarchy of power is about to of currency.”

For those unfamiliar, Sabbac was a villain introduced in the Outsiders Vol. 3 8 in 2004 and was a Russian crime boss named Ishmael Gregor who was possessed by a demon. In Black Adam, he will be played by Marwan Kenzari.

“In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was given almighty powers from the gods,” reads the official description for Black Adam. “After using these powers for revenge, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Nearly 5,000 years have passed, and Black Adam has risen from man to myth to legend. Now freed, his unique form justice, born of rage, is challenged by the modern-day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher and Cyclone.”
