Cast announced for THE LONE WOLF SOCIETY Directed by Reading At The Tank

The cast has been announced for the staged reading of Anthony J. PiccioneThe complete new drama from The Lone Wolf Society, directed by Andrés Gallardo Bustillo and scheduled for November 4 at 7 p.m. at The Tank, located at 312 W 36th Street, 6th Floor, New York, NY.

For this first staged reading, the cast features Bruce Gomez in the role of Elijah, Robert Maisonnette as Colonel and Vincent, Chyna Jackson as Gabby, Leyla Hadi-Kassim as Principal Morris and Susan, Millie Gibbons as Ashley, Nikolas Elrifi as Dalton, Adi Israel as Vanessa, Gabriella Spielberg as Molly, Praveen US as Brian & Giogio-Josez Varipapa like Tommy.

This in-person-only event will be presented by Piccione Arts alongside the launch of a fundraising campaign in partnership with Fractured Atlas beginning November 1 to bring the production to an Off-Broadway stage. The Lone Wolf Society is a psychological horror drama that follows the story of Elijah Brooks. During his final year at barack obama In high school, Elijah finds himself socially isolated due to severe bullying, toxic parenting, and his own increasingly evil actions. One day, he is recruited by a mysterious organization led by a charismatic chauvinist known as the Colonel. As his initiation progresses, Elijah’s moral boundaries are tested as he gradually learns the organization’s master plan, in this unsettling portrait of gun violence, the dark web and the toxic masculinity.

Mr. Piccione is an award-winning writer, producer and teaching artist whose first play A Therapy Session with Myself premiered in January 2019 at the Hudson Guild Theater before moving in May to the Kraine Theater for a one-year run, while his second play One Empire, Under God premiered live at The Tank in November 2021 after premiering via Zoom earlier. that year, and will be published by Next Stage Press in February 2023. Additionally, Piccione’s eclectic one-act canon has previously premiered in New York at venues such as The Tank, the Hudson Guild TheaterPlanet Connections Theater Festival, Midtown International Theater Festival, and Manhattan Directory Theater. His short film What I Left Behind was named NYWinterfest Best Short Film of 2018, and his short film The Fire That Won’t Stop was nominated as an Official Selection at the Venice Short Film Awards, Paris International Short Festival and Hollywood International. Mr. Gallardo Bustillo is a Colombian director, choreographer, performer and educator who is currently the founding co-artistic director of the Proscaenium Theater Company. Before Proscaenium, he was co-artistic director of The Phoenix Theater (PA) where he developed Origins Theater Festival, a theater festival dedicated to celebrating the innovation and diversity of theater in different cultures. He has worked with theater companies such as Out of the Box Theatrics, Misi Productions, Teatro SEA, Fuego Celta and Play Nice Theater Company. He is the founder of Cumbres Musical in Colombia, a pre-professional theater program. He is also one of the founders of CREA Collaborate to Reimagine and Evolve the Arts in New York. As a director, he has worked on numerous theater productions both Off-Broadway and Regional – including theaters such as the Davenport Theatre, Kraine Theater and the American Theater of Actors, among others. His creative work has spanned many mediums beyond theater, including choreography and filmmaking. During his acting career, he performed in various theater productions, film plays and dance works. Career highlights include Indio in West Side Story, Peter Pan in Peter/Wendy and How The Westons Won – he is also a resident company member at Teatro SEA and the Proscaenium Theater Company. He is a graduate of the Misi School of Musical Theater and the Musical Theater and Film Professional Conservatory of the New York Film Academy.
