Glasgow-based bereavement technology company Exizent has announced that it has become a member of the Law Society of Scotland and has been granted approved provider status.
The Law Society of Scotland – the professional body and regulator of Scottish solicitors – granted this membership and status after completing its assessment process.
Exizent’s software helps legal professionals manage the enforcement process, including entering key data, producing court and estate tax forms, and creating estate accounts.
Additionally, technology helps legal professionals provide enhanced services to those left behind after a person’s death.
The parties anticipate that the relationship will foster industry-level discussions and action on the adoption of legal technology and how the legal processes associated with a death can be improved to provide better experiences for all involved persons.
Jack Rowberry, Director of Business Development at the Law Society of Scotland, said: “As a UK-wide legal technology company based in Scotland and providing a modern technology solution that enables our members to better work, Exizent is exactly the type of organization we want as a member of the Society and involved in our flagship Lawscot Tech program.
“It’s great to have them among our approved suppliers and I look forward to working with their team.”
Aleks Tomczyk, Founder and COO of Exizent, added: “Becoming a member of the Law Society of Scotland and gaining Approved Provider status is great news, validating our product’s ability to help legal professionals.
“The fact that our existing Scottish users have vouched for the software and praised the difference it has made to their current work processes during the review activity is further testament to the hard work the team ‘Exizent strives to provide a great product to our users.
“Our ultimate goal is to be an integral part of the landscape of bereavement for the benefit of all. Although we are happy to have already accomplished so much, we are still only at the beginning of our mission to help improve the experience of bereavement. We look forward to working with the Law Society of Scotland as we continue this journey.
Members of the Law Society of Scotland will benefit from Exizent’s software simplifying their enforcement and confirmation work.
Existent’s cloud-based technology enables users and their teams to manage fulfillment work from start to finish on a single platform.
This enables an improved user experience, more efficient workflows, secure case and document management, third-party integrations, estate account creation, and production of key tax and estate duty forms while minimizing the data re-entry.
