2022 is the year of the tiger – a confident, enthusiastic, and courageous animal that represents strength and helps others for the greater good. Join Asia Society Texas in welcoming the Year of the Tiger with performances, arts and crafts, and food inspired by Lunar New Year traditions across Asia.
Dance to the beat of traditional lion dancers as they perform outside on our festival lawn. Enjoy free entry to the exhibit and learn about Lunar New Year traditions around the world through crafts, activities, and shows for all ages. A limited quantity of red envelopes will also be given to the children.
Membership Special
This event is free and open to the public; registration is mandatory. Food and drinks will be available for sale. Representations of Huaxing Arts Group Houston are labelled.

Spring Festival: Splendor of Huaxing
TICKETS: $5 Members, $10 Non-members
Performance times at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Each session will feature the same performances.
To celebrate Lunar New Year 2022, Huaxing Art Group will join the Asia Society Texas Center to present a collection of Chinese music and dance. From modern interpretations of traditional tunes to classic folk dances, the show will highlight a variety of performers and dance styles.
Huaxing Arts Group Houston is a civic organization of Chinese Americans in the Greater Houston area. The association has served the broader community through volunteerism, service, and cultural exchange with a patriotic focus on strengthening the Chinese-American community and its relationship with fellow citizens.
Asia Society Texas education and outreach programs are presented by Wells Fargo.
