Michigan Ross Launches New “Business and Society” Podcast Featuring Ross Faculty

ANN ARBOUR, Mich., October 7, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Stephen M. Ross School of Business at University of Michigan today presented a new podcast that shares insights from school faculty members on current issues and events.

Business and Society with Michigan Ross explores the various ways in which the business world interacts with our society at large. The show’s format includes two segments: a small panel of Michigan Ross professors discussing a current public issue, followed by an interview with another professor about their latest impactful research.

The first episode, available now, addresses the question “Is the American Corporation Doomed?” with a panel featuring Professors Michigan Ross Paul Clyde, jerry davisand Cindy Schipani. Moreover, the teacher Sarah Miller explains her research on the long-term financial impacts on women who are denied abortions.

Future episodes will cover topics such as social media and democracy, government regulation and climate change, and why people can be reluctant leaders.
